Well its time to kick off our BTCC series! Straight into the deep end with the short and simple, yet complex Brands Hatch Indy circuit. There will be sure to be plenty of doors rubbed, sparks flying, paint trading, barrel rolling action - and maybe even some popped tyres!

8:00pm - Official Practise
8:40pm - Qualifying
8:55pm - Drivers Briefing
9:00pm - Racing Commences

Race 2: 15 minute sprint Race, random marble draw for grid reversal from Race 1 Result
Race 3: 15 minute sprint Race, random marble draw for grid reversal from Race 2 Result
Please be sure to sign up to the points site and register with the series - if you have not, you will not receive any points!

Re: NZrFL:42 BTCC - Round 1
Looking forward to this. Been a few years since I did on-line sim racing, and was slow before, so not expecting to be competitive.
Am interested to see how much has changed from rF1 to rF2. Already noticed better tyre wear / flat spotting realism.

You probably won't notice it quite as much in these cars, but the way the track changes throughout the session was really remarkable and noticeable in the GT3 series we did earlier this year.

Re: NZrFL:42 BTCC - Round 1
No good. Windows update appears to have broken rF2.
Edit - another reboot and rF2 worked OK single player .... then another reboot and worked online .... but wheel not set and I couldn't start race.
Will try again next week.
Edit - managed to join Donington on-line (after racing had finished), but now get "rFactor 2 has stopped working" in both off-line and on-line. Found the Studio 397 support forums, seems this error has happened to some other users recently, can't see a fix posted. Am reinstalling, will try to get vanilla rF2 working then add mod again.
Another edit - vanilla rF2 won't work anymore. Have tried deinstall / delete all rfactor2 folders / reinstall. Installed latest Radeon video drivers. Have posted on support forum.
