NZrFL:42 BTCC - Round 3
Round 3 sees our UK tour head to Thruxton. This is a notoriously fast and tyre destroying circuit, so if I was planning on being a spectator, I would stand a couple of feet back from the fence!
Track: Thruxton
Schedule:
8:00pm - Official Practise
8:40pm - Qualifying
8:55pm - Drivers Briefing
9:00pm - Racing Commences
Format:
Race 1: 15 minute sprint Race, qualifying used for grids.
Race 2: 15 minute sprint Race, random marble draw for grid reversal from Race 1 Result
Race 3: 15 minute sprint Race, random marble draw for grid reversal from Race 2 Result
Round Notes:
Thruxton is notoriously hard on tyres - so much in fact, the real life series forces the harder compound to be used due to the soft tyre not being safe. How accurately the tyre wear is modelled in this version of the track is yet to be seen, but I would certainly do some test runs first to be sure you can make your tyres last to the end!

Just had a play, I would recommend everyone jump on early, The gear ratios will need adjusting and you will need to practice before hand to see which tyres you want to use, I don't think its possible for in FWD to run softs while pushing flatout.
