KiwiSimRacing is proud to announce we will be kicking off 2020 with a GT3 Series using the official S397 DLC content. The GT3, and GT3 Challengers' DLC's are testament to the quality Studio 397 are capable of delivering, and could, quite possibly, be some of the finest content in sim racing....

[21/01] - Round 1 - WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
[28/01] - Round 2 - Canadian Tyre Motorsport Park
[04/02] - Round 3 - Highlands Motorsport Park
[11/02] - Round 4 - Okayama International Circuit
[18/02] - Round 5 - Imola
[25/02] - Round 6 - Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Race Night Schedule/Format:

8.30pm - Open Qualifying 15mins (Unlimited Laps)
8:50pm - Drivers Briefing on Discord (no cars on the track please)
9.00pm - Race 1 Start
9:30pm - Race 2 Start

2 x Races - Pits Open
Race 1 - 20 minute Sprint
Race 2 - 40 minute Feature (CP Required)
CP: Change all Tyres. Pits open from lap 2 onwards. CP must be done before the comencemnent of the final lap

Race Settings and Rules:

Flag Rules - Black Only
Damage - 50%
Fuel usage - 1X
Tire Usage - 1X
Mechanical Failures - Normal
Race Length - 20min Sprint & 40min Feature
Type of Start - Standing

Driving Aids:
Traction Control - TBA
Anti Lock Brakes - TBA
Auto Clutch - Yes
Driving View - Open



Crossing The Finish Line:
Please refrain from post-race chat and celebrations ("congratulations", burnouts etc.) until after all competitors have crossed the line.

Sign-ups:
Please register which livery you would like to race with in the Skin Reservations Thread.

Points:
Races will feature a 50% race completion threshold in order to qualify for the finishing bonus.
Races will also feature a crossing the line bonus if you complete the race.

No sign-up page anymore my man, there's a pts site but it just pulls all the details from the results file

There are 3 links in the opening post but we only need to purchase the two GT3 DLC packs, right? I’ve purchased them both for $25 total.

That is correct. The first link was just to rF2's store page.

Once you buy them through Steam, should they appear magically in your RF2 installation much like Workshop content? And if so, under what car category? I think the only GT3 cars I can see (Under GT3) are the previous free mod we used as I can't find the Audi R8 for example. As I have a crap ton of mods installed, I am having a wee trouble finding the Studio 397 cars

They are listed individually - Porsche, Radical, Bentley etc (No Ferrari though)

They are listed by vehicle - I assume you have selected 'all cars and tracks' for your car selection.

Im pretty sure if you change the car/mod loaded to just whatever the S397 GT3 series is called, it will only display those cars.

We will be releasing a rFMod/Package file for the season once tracks etc have been decided which will also just display the S397 cars when loaded.

For some reason I'm unable to join the KSR Server? The "Join" button doesn't light up in the server selection screen? Other servers seem to be fine though.

Same issue for me. I also noted the "Event Details" Section on the bottom left of the server browser was simply blank in all sections for the KSR server, whilst all other servers had track, car, event name etc.

Restarted server, see if that helps

Hi Reaper. I see you managed to sort logging on to KSR.

Opening Post updated with track list, dates and link to track pack.

I have updated first post to have all the details so far in the one post.

Feel free to post if you have any issues with the track pack. You will need to have purchased and installed the DLC content first before installing the track pack.

Both GT3 packs are still on sale at 50% off. Not sure how long that will last.

Laguna Seca -> 1.0 or 1.1?? I only appear to have 1.0

The 1.1 is a different creator/track.

Server has been updated with car/track pack.
