Organised, serious racing can be such a bore - we present to you, possibly the most fun you will ever have behind the wheel in iRacing - the Mount Vee Royale!

Taking inspiration from Soap Box Derbies of yesteryear, featuring a double elimination tournament format, pitching Formula Vee's, minus their engine capabilities, in a head to head battle down the slopes of Mt Washington. Who will ravish in the spoils and emerge the victor?

To Join the league, you can find us either on the member website under leagues, or in the UI, under leagues, as "Kiwi Sim Racing". If that does not work, our League ID is 6915. You should then be able to apply for the league. If you are not accepted within 24 Hours, please message myself (Bull) as sometimes join requests do not come through.

Cars Available:
Formula Vee

Schedule:
[08/09] - Mount Vee Royale - Mt Washington

Race Night Schedule:
[19:35] - Session Goes Live
[20:15] - Drivers Briefing
[20:20] - Racing Commences

Format:
- 40 Minute Practise Session
- Fun 'All In' Practise race down the mount - this will be used for seeding
- Drivers seeded into draw
- First Driver to the finish line wins - or in example when both drivers do not finish, the driver that has traveled the furthermost will win
- Double Elimination Bracket until winner is crowned

For those unfamiliar with how a double elimination bracket works, it basically means you are not eliminated until you have lost TWICE. Yes, that means if you suffer a loss, you have a second chance at victory. This will be explained on Discord/Drivers Briefing however if you google Double Elimination Bracket you will see many examples of how it is used and how it works.

Prizes:
1x $5 iRacing Giftcard for the victor

Rules:
- NO ENGINES. Drivers must leave their car in NEUTRAL for the entire race, and can only use brake and steering inputs
- In event of huge number of entries, the first couple of rounds may see drivers per race expanded to 4, or 6 drivers. In these instances, the top 2 (4 drivers) or top 3 (6 drivers) will be classed as 'winners', and the others will be classed as 'losers'.
- Standard iRacing Rules
- Local Yellow Flags
- Kiwi Sim Racing's Racing Rules
- Voice Comm's - iRacing in-game chat will be used for drivers briefing and all official correspondence during the event. Discord is also encouraged for general communications during the night - Kiwi Sim Racing Discord Invite Link
