2AVFUN & KSR Presents: New Zealand ARCA Shootout

With an increased interest to run some roundy-roundy oval racing, 2AVFUN and Kiwi Sim Racing have joined forces to put together a local oval racing series. Starting out in the popular novice class, the ARCA Menard, it will be a great introduction to oval track racing. The ARCA has just enough power to get yourself into trouble, but is more forgiving than the higher tier cars in the NASCAR brigade. Drivers will quickly learn the quirkiness of how to make pace while preserving tyre, and the unpredictability a safety car can bring to your race strategy.
NOTE: Due to positive feedback, the Kiwi Sim Racing Crash Committee will be continuing on for this season - Nothing to fear, it just means we will be reviewing races looking at any intentional or poor driving and may issue warnings or penalties as we see fit. We aren't here to ruin the enjoyment or fun of racing, just to ensure everyone is having a fun bite of the cherry.
Top participate in the series, you will need to be a member of either the Kiwi Sim Racing or 2AVFUN iRacing Leagues. To Join the league, you can find us either on the member website under leagues, or in the UI, under leagues, as "Kiwi Sim Racing" or "2AVFUN". If that does not work, our League ID is 6915. You should then be able to apply for the league. If you are not accepted within 24 Hours, please message myself (Bull) as sometimes join requests do not come through.

Format:
- 5 Minute Private Qualifying Session, 2x timed laps
- 1x 10 Minute Sprint Race
- 1x 5 Minute Warmup
- 1x 25 Minute Feature Race
** Round 6 will feature a different format:
- 5 Minute Private Qualifying Session, 2x timed laps
- 45 Minute Feature Race, double points, 1 Compulsory pitstop for fuel

- Rounds 1-5 will only feature one additional set of tyres. Round 6 will feature two additional sets of tyres.
* Full course yellows will only be thrown for large, multi-car incidents. A full course yellow will not be used for a single car incident.
