The Indy 500 is one of the great races in the world of motorsport. It has incredibly high speeds, Almost no margin for error and the biggest single-day crowd in all of sport. iRacing due to well-publicized reasons won't have an Indy 500 special event in 2023, So for this year, we present to you the KSR 500, 200 laps of high-speed wheel-to-wheel action at a track that may or may not be in Indiana.

Date: Saturday 20th May 2023 (NO Clash with NIS)
Format:
Qualifying - Solo Qualifying, Average over 4 laps.
Race - 200 Laps with time certain finish of 3 hours 15 mins
Prizes:
Trophies for the top 3 finishers and the highest placed driver who has never had an irating over 2000k in oval racing.
$15 USD iRacing Credits randomly draw to any driver that Completes 180 laps during the race
Rules:
Rules will be as close to real-life IndyCar as possible
- Standard iRacing Rules
- Full Course Yellow Flags - When possible we will shorten this to 2 laps (default is 3)
- Restarts will be a single file with lap cars maintaining position in the queue
- No lucky dog but there will be a wave around if lap-down cars are between the Safety car and the leader.
