We're heading back to basics for NZiRL 21 and the building block of entry level formula racing for the last 50 years, the Formula Ford (called Ray FF1600 in iRacing).
This is new content within iRacing and has proven extrmely popular in offiials since launch. It also included within the base subscription.
We'll be following the D Class "Formula 1600 Thrustmaster Trophy" series as a base, but using fixed setups that iRacing have created for each track.
The racing should be intense, unpredictable and fun! They will provide a much different challenge than the prototypes in the Cavity Cup and the GT3's in the Endurance series.
REMINDER: You will need to be part of the "Kiwi Sim Racing" league on the iRacing "Leagues" page. Race sessions will from now on be found in the League section, rather than Hosted Races. If you need any help with this, please message me on here or on Discord Prior to racing - once the session goes live I cannot add anyone in that isn't already registered to the league.

- 15 Minute Open Qualifying Session
- 3 x 15 Minute Sprint Races
- 1st Sprint Race will Run as per Qualifying Result
- 2nd Sprint Race will be reverse top 8 of Race 1 Result
- 3rd Sprint Race will be reverse top 15 of Race 2 Result
