WAAAAHOOOO
A rare occurrence in season 8,
A race with some tyre wear
And after a number of laps you even have to lift off the throttle in the turns.
Another dimension added to the occasion.
Thou probably too much dimension considering the strife I got myself into when I first started practising this track.
As Wide say's "This is going to be a interesting race"

Everyone will need at least the full hour to practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pit exit it tough, the pit entry is a b***h, If you touch the apron you will spin almost every time and the truck moves around allot. Even with the best setups it’s almost imposable to hold the low line and this is a dam good setup. It’s a hard track to get around by yourself let a lone 25+ other trucks. You will not want to be on the outside because the truck on the inside will more then likely move up the track. Its not the setup that will do that it’s the track there is not a lot of grip.

Lots of spins in the rookie race.. qualified in 9th and moved into 4th or 5th after 20 or so laps due to most of the leaders getting taken out earlier on. Was going ok until i hear ts "your connection to the server has been lost" but i can still see dudes in front so kept on driving... 1 minute later i lost connection
was able to get it all sorted and get back into TS but couldn't get into the proper channel and only mattly could hear me.. got back into the race with 22 laps down...BUt still finished the RACE! Mattly and i both ran out of gas on the white flag
To all those who raced in the Rookie race...... THANKS for the FUN

Righto then. The weather has been shite....GarethRobinson wrote:My abscence was weather related, got called away to move stock away from flooding and missed the race. Don't know about the others.Maniak wrote:What happened to Team Redline???? None of them turned up.
Are you the man to talk to about the analysis/points from the VR league race?

Good race, I think.
Thought the first few laps was odd with a very slow race pace happening on the racing line
Missed a couple of dings by only just scraping thru with my bumper. Had one bad ding by suddenly catching an extra draft in the corner turn 2, and I lost control. As I was rolling down the backstraight, Ian I think hit me and right me up and pointed me back in the correct direction, and I was off again
But alas I paid him back horribly later by not looking in my rear mirror and pulling out in front of him on the front straight - apologies Ian, or Angus, or whoever it was.
Murph, another disco huh ?

No worries, always happy to help anyone, wide load wrote: Thanks to BCingU for the help he gave me on Tuesday night when I was practicing. It helped me to qualify 4th, and improved the line I was running in the race.
And I can normally be relied upon to express my opinon on where I think someone should go
