Two weeks we've been going on about this league, and on the day of the first race he decides to join.

Pick an unused default car, and let me know what it is so ya get points.

Can I also join. I posted in the other thread first. I'd like to race proton car 10.

I've raced protons before and actually raced at this track (although I can't remember it). I'm not very quick either... :(

Only found out about it today...

With these cars taking a full lap and a half from cold to get tire temps up to a noticable level, pace lap is important.

Its only a waste of time when the car following you does not give you enough room to get some wiggling done. It also allows you to line your car up on the grid how you like.

If you have problems with the rules, perhaps you should have posted in the rule thread, when the rules were posted, or once again all that typing I did goes unread
Too much to read >8p. I'll have my eye on your starts young Unbound.

Obviously everyone has forgotten the tarting round we had to endure in the PCC with regards to formation laps - we shall see how things go.[/quote]

Your missing the point Happy. Its not the starts where this pays off. Its T1 and 2 and 3 .......... The whole first lap is safer with everyone having some temps in their tires.

My starts...... Im usually first off the line, and first off t1 ;)

And a note to you new fella's. Do have a read of the rules and when being passed, you dont have to drive yourself off the track. Hold your line and let the faster guy do the work. Leaving room for others to pass is a bit of an art and it pays to learn all parts of the track as there are random bumps and loose stuff off line.

Good luck _b

If we pop off the formation lap, the game will find spots for all those dangling off the back of the grid :> *prod prod*

it is two timed laps >8p, so your outlap and inlap are included in the 4 (even if you go back to the pit half way through your outlap, I think that still counts as a lap o_O

Well I had a shocking first race, could barely string two laps together in practice and stupidly decided to race with the qual setup - bounce bounce bounce.

Shithouse!

3 spins, 3 off track moments. :o

GAY GAY GAY! :static:

Anyway, second race was better raised the ride height softer springs, soooo much better - but a bit slower overall.

Awesome fun, adelade should be a bit more straight foward... In theory.
Brake on the straight before it's too late.

Most enjoyable racing.

Good fun holding Growler and BCingU up, you guys are to be commended for racing so cleanly. Np's, to BCingU for the bump - I think I slowed a bit more than usual at that corner.

Congrats to the Winners, and overall a high standard of driving showed by all I saw. Long may it last.

Bah! My gheywad computer shat itself well and truly last night.

I think the onboard LAN has died on my mainboard which mean't a complete rebuild ... fortunuately I have spares of everything on hand, but even so these things take time. All going well I'll be up and running for NASCAR tonight, but y'know, never trust PC building to go as planned...

That was some very intense racing!!

Sweaty palms on the steering wheel, voices strained over TS. These cars are brilliant!

Although nothing was showing red I really felt the effect of the yellow damage to one side of the car.

Also, slipstreaming worked well down the back straight with these cars. Would be great to race on a track with a long straight like Atlanta that ends at a low speed corner...Indy GP4 anyone?

Can't wait for next week, although going on the form of the practice run and the close proximity of barriers at Adelaide it may be a race of attrition...
