GTR 2 Championship

Post by Heppy » Thu Jul 27, 2006 10:42 pm

Testing the waters to see if many people would be keen to do a GTR 2 championship using GTL.

If so what night is best for you?

Ok, at the moment bids are on Thursday because of the nascar guys on Wednesday.

We are looking at longer races, say 45min with maybe 2x fuel and tyre to force a pitstop.

Here is the draft track selection for the proposed championship

Monza GP

A1-ring

Imola

Suzuka V1.2

Interlagos

Spa-Francorchamps GP

With the limited setup options with GTL the racing should be fast and close

Here's the Mod.

http://rapidshare.de/files/26654566/GTR2carsinGTL.rar

You also have to copy and paste your sounds folder from the GTR2 demo and put in your GTL folder

and install this patch so you don't get CTD when selecting Lister or Lambo(It has a readme with instructions)

Or go here

http://eagle.thenz.org/viewtopic.php?t=77

It has a complete download of the mod with all files and updates included(If you don't have the GTR2 demo)
190mb - everything you need.

It also has all updates on the site, including bik and icon package. For earlier installs.

I'd be keen :)

At Ping Zero, we cranked up Bathurst (which by the way was a cracker version of the track - apart from the camber of conrod straight.

But the saleen was great round there.

only thing is the cars motec does not work in GTL.
