If you didn't make the cut you did not race that week.
That kind of system would benefit "Hot-lappers" who may, or may not, have "Online" race experience ?

If you go the other route that was mentioned, and decide that the Rookie period lasts for 2 series, then maybe the final 10 positions in the main league can be the Top 10 from the Rookie League that runs as a preliminary ? . . . (minus anyone who can't/doesn't want to go on to race in the main league later that night).

But if you do that, then the Rookie Races aren't specifically for total newcomers anymore . . . which would defeat the purpose of them being a training idea in the first place ?

"Twists and Roundabouts" . . . but it's great to see so many guys throwing up ideas.

For anyone that doesn't know you can bind a key to toggle "mute sound" just like binding keys for channel change. I usually toggle it muted while qualifying just incase someone feels the need to make noise. _b
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

Now that my thread has been hijacked and I contributed to it, lets get back on topic.

Who is ready for some door to door, white knuckle racing, where one wrong move will take out half the field?

That's right, its Wednesday and the start of a new season.

Let's get ready to ruuummmmmbbbllllllllleeeeeeeee.

Sigh. Up to 8th after 3 pitstops, then a disconnect. My 1st ever :ffs:

Managed to reconnect and work my way back up to 23rd (?). Mightily impressed with the 1st few laps, some nice driving ther by people and certinaly a lot less dings than CTS last season.

A sign of things to come ? ;)

Cracker race, all fun and games,
shame about some of the unsportsmanlike blocking going on.

Anywho, The admins will have a discussion about the discos and decide if anything should be done at all.

Did you see that Bazzil car on the winners circle ;p ? ey woody eh ? heh.
Yah I think I got second but Woody must have DQ'd himself :>

I was comfortably in the front draft when a couple of cars, impatient and with no understanding of the draft, forced their way through and, you guessed it, caused the pileup within a lap.
So, I started 8th, held 4th for a brief moment, was punted back to 28th and worked my way back to 16th.
Must say that overall the driving skill right through the field is looking not half bad.
Bad luck Odie, that disco was cruel ;(

not naming names but I think people called FAMIN should hold their lines when cars are coming up behind them to overtake them.

Yeah that Disco was bad for the whole Team Marine. Bitme was the only lucky one.

I think you drove an excellent race Happy. Marred only by impatience that meant you tried passing rather than holding back for the car in front to let you past. remember, the onus is entirely on the passing car.

With a tad more luck and a bit more experience you might beat your brother one day. Heres hoping eh?

Good race all, had a fairly clean one.
Shame about the disco's for the guys that were affected.

As for Prom, i'm here, can get hold of me on Arron_Walker@hotmail.com (MSN)

That last pit I was coming in and on my screen you werent there so I had a clean run to my stop, I pulled in early to let cars behind have the road and then you appeared, so to avoid pulling out at that speed and blocking your exit I went inside as there was more than enough room.

Sorry dude, but I was trying to cause as little disruption as I could for you.

Im not going to slow for a car that has no draft when I have a perfectly good draft, specially not a car in 35th place and specially not one driven by you >8p

For me, the night started well and turned to custard. Managed to qualify 12th equal, managed to hang around with the leading pack for the first 10 or so laps before having to slow down for accidents which meant I had to go solo. I felt like after every pitstop, I had to drive solo until the group behind caught up. Eventually I got discoed and finished 11 Laps down in 32nd. I am happy to accept my result and move on to the next race.

Yes, marvellous stuff that. No way was I getting off that yellow line :D Then some bugger popped up in front of us and almost mucked it up for me. Then that bleedin train caught us and you got in front, only to be hung out to dry by them a lap later. Super shot.

:cute:

Enjoyed the race, started well but a few crashes and a stupid no thought black flag put me straight back into my usual place.
Thanks SIM TV and Skelo for the great draft, you pulled me from 25th to 13th and Storm for the last few laps.
See you all next week :)
