@!$^*%!!

Did anyone NOT hit me in the 1st ding ? Went from a qualify of 6th down to 31st in the blink of an eye, worked my way back up to 7th before a pitstop and dropping 10 places.

Great tussle with Inspector for a wee while, but I wonder what might have been.

Well . . . I don't think it was as bad as the Pre-race comments indicated ? :>

I had fun in some of the "in between major prangs" sections . . . It was kind of like a cross between racing, slalom skiing and pool.

But it is always EXTREMELY hectic with No Yellows on smaller tracks . . . and even moreso when people are on different pit strategies . . . where lapped cars were sometimes faster than leading cars.

But you have to admit . . . it was INTENSE. :>

Do you guys ever have a Post Race chat in Yahoo/Paltalk/MSN ?

Well that was fun. ;p

I was driving pretty carefully around accidents but it was still impossible to avoid them all, not much fun when people behind drive into you when you're slowing for the accident ahead either. q-

G Davey gets an apology from me for one tap that was my fault, didn't back off the throttle enough and drifted up slightly in the corner :(

Typhoon, sorry for that tap from the rear mid-race in whichever turn it was. I was right off the gas and still caught you. Were you braking?

Can I protest about the people causing the dings that I ended getting caught up in? :p I must have dodged 20 and got caught in 3, the last one of which was within the last few laps and knocked me -2 laps and 4th-7th after i spent 100+ laps getting back onto the lead lap ;)

As I said on Vent. however, by the time tomorrow comes I'll have forgotten it all :p Lot of chaos, lot of traffic to dodge. But, still FUN as always ;)
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

And the same villians get to come back next week and rip again :D

Was all good fun, i guess :Puke:.

Shame the few couldn't be bothered lifting or looking ahead for wrecks and instead, took out or involved those that did, wont learn from the race, as they seem not to give a stuff, or worse are totally naive that they are at fault for some of the big dings.

However was happy to finish ahead of the main 2 wreckers, thou unlike eagle, i will send in a protest for each incident so that their in-consideration can be brought to their attention.

my luck seems to be running thin these days....some fun racing had but after a tow on a track with 20 sec laps race was pretty much over....seemed to keep being in the wrong place at the right time and got dinged from all directions....some just racing incidents...but a noticable few were simply the case of the other drivers not quite having the situational awareness (am assuming that if my spotters calling then their spotter should be relaying some sort of info as well)

Retired soon after giving Tony G a nudge as we where clearing out from a spin and noticed that my brakes where not working (sorry about that Tony...had my foot planted on the brakes but nothing)....pedals tucked....going to do some research and build my own now to interface with the DFP...stuff fixing the plastic fantastics

Feel sorry for the judges and Prom this week...the judges are going to have a stack of protests to go through and poor Prom is going to have to buy a few new hard drives to fit all the footage of crashing on :p

Probably a good time to start focussing on the near misses and close calls and situations of excellent judgement in the videos.

Ummm, i guess you're not meaning me when you are talking of protests, but why protest the worst offenders and not the consistent offenders and the aggro, skill-challenged guys who fly past you when you slow for bings, or decide their is agap there and you will yield?
Rookies get yelled at, & bad mouthed for the slightest mistake yet some of the old hands drive like it's combat, even some of the supposed top guys are guilty of driving to take no prisoners – doesn’t matter if they are in 30th or 3rd they’ll push the pass. Truck 105 is as bad as the others week in and no one says boo, ( proof that there is a God is on Lap 155-odd when , after barging his way through a pack a lap earlier and getting crossed up, he barrels into a multi-car brawl in an attempt to pass the entire field and gets nailed). I let everyone go past that was ahead or far behind me…even slowing and losing places to tell them to pass; because I’m gun-shy now about being involved in incidents and called out for it. Was top ten at half way, staying clean, then got spun into the pits backwards and lost a lap. Yet, I knew if certain mullet-headed guys kept at it, chances were of a good result…and lo it came to pass.

In fairness though Hillside is a very difficult track to race on with that much traffic, sometimes you unintentionally add to the carnage by slowing down and unsuccessfully trying to pick a clean line through out of control vehicles.

Happened with me on a number of occaisions.

from what I saw red valiant you didn't do too bad, two people I noticed not slowing for accidents were Live M and Jason Dellaway.

Red valiant, if you see any 'non-rookies' breaking the rules, / dangerous driving or barelling into accident areas then submit a penalty for it.

You can submit a penalty for anyone breaking the rules, you don't even have to be involved in the incident.

Don't know where you get that idea. I've just been through the replay counting how many times J Dellaway took me out and I can confirm that is not the case at all.
