Is this the prize ? Is there going to be another pool concept like last year ? (just trying to work out who I need to have killed to make it into the top 10 )Inspector wrote: Will VR Concepts be sending a race seat all the way to Japan?

I am hoping..... After a little count up Typhoon will have to have a real bad race and come last, I would have to finish in the top 10 to pass him on the points table...Inspector wrote:Will the pressure be too much? Will Mikools team mates drive normally and take Typhoon out? Will the two late chargers Redvaliant and Big Al steal the win?
Possible???? I would say yes... but that is me thinking positive
Good luck to all. Its going to be a long race.
QUESTION: Can flyboy make it without a toilet stop this time?
Mikool...

Holy crap.
I just looked at the schedule and saw that it's a 100% race ?
So that's 167 laps (the schedule is wrong in saying it's 188?).
And at just under a minute per lap . . . plus pit stops . . . (counts on fingers) . . .
That's over 2 1/2 hours ? ? ? ? ? ?
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH . . . . you guys are masochists.

Meow, meow. Cats prefer Chef. Besides the longer it is the more people will give up and the more potential places the MLC trucks can gain at the backBAZZIL wrote:I think we may be making it 80% or something so it's not so long

Why isn't anyone working right now ?! My, there's a lot of people browsing the forum. Is it because it's Wednesday, the scientifically proven slowest day of the week ?

Just worked out where the 188 laps came from. This race was originally going to be 100% at Talladega which is 188 laps, but we changed the track to suit the Aus V's NZ race and although the track was changed to Coca-Cola the distance (laps) were never altered.
The organisers are just discussing a possible length change now. The Enduro race was put in for a reason. the same as Papyrus was put in. Although not a tru road course, nor an oval it was put there to provide an extra bit of pressure and to test some more of your skills. For a similar reason the Enduro was included to further test your skills. Real Nascar racing is about driver and car endurance and whilst common sense tells us we can't do that every week we decided to put one 100% race in to test your endurance skills and concentration and the result will truely reflect your ability in this aspect of the game.
Because we have come to the end of the season everyone just wants to get it over and done with, whereas if this had been the first or second race of the season everyone would have been all enthusiastic and rearing to go.
I think 100% should stay. It was made 100% for a reason and if you can't hack the pace then you will not be on the podium and your season points will reflect that.
On the question of cups of tea.....I have given my three boys permission to stay up late tonight on the condition that a regular flow of cold beer arrives from the fridge when I click my fingers. Ah the joy of having children is suddenly coming to me.

So about, what, 8 pit stops in the race maybe? Well it certainly will be interestingMattly wrote:I hope the tyre wear and fuel usage will remain the same as the rest of the races. The pitting will be a nice break in the monotony.
