Well, it’s that time of the season, the enduro that all drivers dread. Sitting at their wheels turning 200 plus laps at just over 30 seconds a lap. The older drivers of the group may have trouble keeping it together, so Depends may be in order. From what I have heard, Famin, Inspector and Dick Trickle all have a case by their desktops or racing seats. The newer generation either have self control or have invested in a Stadium Pal. If you are confused at all about the Stadium Pal, just Google it.

After this race we will have a new points leader with current leader Daniel Wood being absence to take care of prior commitments made by the team manager. Will the Monsters be able to maintain this points lead in the team standings with the absence of 1 driver? The DuDs plan on using this opportunity to take the team lead by the help of team leader Bazz. Viking continues to make his way up the standings and keeping team Voda in the hunt. SimTV is still showing that they are a force to be reckon with and are fighting tooth and nail to stay in the hunt. Team Marine will again have a full team this week with the return of Bite-Me, which could be very important on this superspeedway. Team Vengeance and Google show up every week to work on improving their team skills and show that they are not to be taken lightly. M3 Power will get back on track this week with the return of Famin, but will Chequers be returning. Find out on Wednesday.

Couple track notes

Pit Entry can be made from turn 4 with caution
Pit Exit is on the back stretch.
Pit Speed is 55MPH
During the practice Tuesday night the tri-oval seemed to be a tricky part of the track and will not be taken lightly with side by side racing, so ensure you hold your line when going though the tri-oval.

Drivers that need to start from the back due to being in the Top 5 in points:

Daniel Wood
Ze Bazzil
Riven
Happy
Viking

There was no call for that last bit, lift your game, no excuses.

Wood just being generous and giving some of you other sacks a chance.

Ohh nearly forgot, good luck all. :D

I did a race against AI on Sunday, with the default fast settings. On turns 3 / 4, the bottom of the car was constantly hitting the ground, leaving a very nice trail of sparks.

Is this the same fast setup we're using, or will it be tweaked ?

Yes, enjoy yourself out there people. :)

The DuD's are a bit behind at the moment, only sporting of us Monsters to stand down a driver, give them a chance, I'ts only fair. ;p

But don't anyone fret, I'll be back next week.

Correct, I have just checked, I copied the Chris_SSX setup into the fast setup.

So if you want to practise offline, use the Chris_SSX setup.

The quip by Inspector suggesting that the older drivers mightn't hack the pace of the enduro has tipped the scales, so I will race this one. See you on the track.

Well, must have been my turn for the bad night.
Entree was being taken out in a crash with Angus when we finally got started.
Next on the menu was a discon.
For mains I had a brake failure on pits leading to a run around.
Desert was another discon.

I don't like icing so I wasn't staying around for that.

Good luck all, will see you all next week.

:Puke: :Puke: :Puke:

PS, sort ya starts out ya sacks, you're ruining it for others.

Unlucky night for me as well, was running in (i think) 5th place, which is the best I had been all season, if not my entire NZ online racing career, and as I came into the pits for a stop on Lap 106, the connection just went belly-up for long enough to dump me. I rejoined about 8 laps later, but eventually popped an engine.

Hopefully it is not an omen for my uni exam tomorrow afternoon.

When the hell will people bloody learn. Last season was my first in nascar and i got picked up thrown down dragged behind almost everything about my driving, which i believe has improved alot.

Now week after week back markers contiune to race cars laps ahead of them (not just the rookies either) all that happens is they stuff up other drivers races and their own.

I believe it time for the committee to get tough on these drivers that time after time cause nothing but shit.

I did quallify well but after the second pit stop where i found myself up to 5th then all the shit starts and it all turns to custard (i bloody hate custard)

to top it all of get a power serg and comp shuts down.
So i will not be able to submit any protests because i didn't get the chance to save my replay.

Great way to finish what was going to be a great finsh for me.

Oh well Next take no prisoners

:Puke: :Puke: :ffs:
