Yay I'm back!
My wheel died, in addition to the wife and I getting Guild Wars (I swear, that game comes with a spell called TimeSiphon that activates the second you install it) but, not only did I get a new wheel for my birthday, I got a new video card...which happens to be one of the ones that GTR has issues with (radeon 9xxx series)...finally got that fixed today. I think.
Upshot is, I should be there for Monday.

I usually try a few of the ones from the "Online files" in-game. Can usually hit one I can drive that's better than the default in the first couple of tries.Sulley wrote:Hey all, I'm joining in the fun from next week, anyone give me a line on a good place for 911RS GT3 setups, over and above the default ones I normally use.
The Official Simbin GTR forums also have a setup forum. You have to register on that forum to get to the setup sub-forum however. If you want to http://www.gtr-game.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1661 has one of the guys gt3 setups about 3 posts into that thread. I've tried them for a couple of tracks. Bit hit and miss for me, sometimes they are good and sometimes they are undrivable.
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

The gods are not being kind to me. I deffinitely won't be at the first race on Tuesday and I probably won't make the second either due to an exam that finishes at 9pm that day
So have fun and someone push Happy off the track if he can't find the sand on his own.

It shouldn't be. I've been on there a couple of hours most nights with various people since last Tuesday and it's been fine.

Yup. That was great fun.Eagle32 wrote: Great racing with Bill and Snake on the middle of the field however.
I am thinking I might brake off the racing line though when I see a bullet screaming up my ass for a late braking maneuver. Usually starting about when the front of the following car touches my rear wing :-)
Apologies for driving across the track at the Bustop after spinning. Was trying to get out of the way. I think sitting still is a much smarter move - even though I was across the track. Hmm.
I do love GTR. I wish they'd fix their little bugs. That wheel not working bug is a major pain because I have a very custom FF setup and if I click on the wrong button it gets trashed by GTR so I have to copy a backup of my player file back in. Grr.
And I made my best laptime in the last race. YeeHarr.

I saw that...after thinking about it, I should have given you the left side, so you could have cut the apex of the right hander.Happy wrote:I couldn't decide where to go >8p.odonohuesp wrote:You saw me as I was trying to give you the whole right side of the trackHappy wrote:Cracking race >8p, shame I didn't really see anyone
And then on the next corner I dinged it.

According to the results file for Race One you got DQ'd very shortly into the race Odie? Is that correct or a glitch?
Also, anyone know what happened to Gregory? He's showing as full race distance but DQ'd which puts him at the back. Accurate?
GENERAL WARNING FOR EVERYONE - Please don't get yourselves DQ'd by messing around after the end of the race.
The log replaces your race time with DQ so you get a weird place in the finishing line up because it doesn't know where you finished. (The order is based on total finishing times.)

Im always in a quandry re when to exit so as to not miss saving the replay.
Last night I waited till everyone had a time and then exited completely. Right out of multiplayer so as to get the replay option screen.
i then renamed the replay and re joined multi player.
Is that the correct procedure everyone else is doing?
