Can we just make up our collective minds.......
There is always next week as well so.......
Plus it might be a good idea that we do several short races before the season starts to test out the new tracks going into rotation. A quick bug test to make sure they are all ok.
Save going through the Riki/Papyrus crud syndrom again.
See ya tonight

An executive decision has been made.
Track: MichiganBR
Length: 35%
Time: 9.30 qual
Damage: On
Yellows: Off
Pit Frequency: 2x
The server is up and running with these settings now and practice will be reset until we are ready for our race.
I will analyse the replay and post it in this thread straight after the race for those who wish to view it.
Good luck and have fun.

What the hell are we doing poll's for if we aren't going to follow them???? I guess there is no use looking at the 4 or 5 man team poll since it doesn't matter. I'm wondering was that executive decision made by one man? I didn't think this community had a CEOInspector wrote:An executive decision has been made.

As Wideload said the poll didn't give a full set of options and as people do when a full set of options aren't presented they pick one anyway even when it's not what they really want just because they feel they need to. A few others probably abstained because the options they wanted weren't there as well.
For decision making it's a pretty useless poll really.

Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

The race setup is playing things on the safe side, we've raced lots before with yellow and damage on and with the possibility of a full grid tonight (rookies included) things could end up just being a parade
Most of the guys that voted yellows on (including myself) were probably guys that have raced a fair bit and are comfortable with pack drafting, had not really considered the rookie aspect as the last few times I've raced damage and yellows on was just a bunch of the guys that have raced alot in the past
In the end lesser of two evils...there is damage on so you'll still have to be a bit more careful of the walls etc

Oh dear, you won't believe this but Jetboy just pointed out the poll to me. I never even saw it and obviously didn't vote. I just read the last few comments and spoke to a couple of people and those all wanted yellows off so I went with that.
Oh well, I might as well make the announcement now.
In the news today......
New Nascar CEO, Mr Gadget made it clear today when firing all committee members that democracy was a sham and he would see to it that any form of independent thought would be stomped on with a very heavy boot.
Any dissention would be penalised with drivers being forced into 5 man teams and repeat offenders would be taken to Snakes place to watch him race with his pussy........

Hell yeah !Riven wrote: What did ya expect from someone working in the TV media
Anyway, I put the poll up because I wantde to race today, and thought a try with damage and yellows could be something different from the league. No other reason.
Me, I'm happy with the race tonight with mod damage and no yellows - cleanest race I've seen in ages.
