Stole Win..... ;p

Just goes to show how close and fun this racing is, squeaked the win after losing out for the round by one point last week.

All fun, cheers Marty for letting me by easy in race 2 and holding Daza up a bit :D

Cheques in the mail ;)

two ctds here....that'll learn me for trying to use dialup. I really enjoy Watkins as it just about covers all your cnr needs. I will probably miss the rest of the races as my cable setup is miles away at work, and who wants to be at work on a Sunday :>

I have and I haven't. There is just too much maths for my poor addled brain to bear. However, I have optimised my system in the usual ways - even getting GTR to run kinda ok. On cable there is no issue with OWR or any other Nascar based mod...it's just that GPL works on dialup, so I thought I'd give OWR a try on it too. I guess in this day and age dial up is history. No mind, I'll be on broadband in the US in a few months _b

:D ...I know what you mean Red ....but this tweak may be the trick.

the hardest part to work out is this section:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TextureSetSize= "????????"

The "number" is what you want to replace. There is a formula for this...
( Mb of video ram) x (1048576) - ( 4 x Screen Width) x ( Screen Height) x (BPP) Bits Per Pixel, use (2) for 16bit or (4) for 32bit color.
NOTE: 16bit color will be less of a performance hog then 32bit color
HUH! WHAT THE?
I listed the proper settings here, Just look and match up your resolution with your color depth and you'll find the answer to the formula for your TextureSetSize.
