Hey team

Post by MENTL1_CHB » Wed Jun 04, 2008 6:15 pm

Hey ya guys!
After the weekends LAN I was really bitten by the tarmac bug and would to like to get into it some more.

Im just woundering if anyone could give me an idea of what would be good for me to join or something I could give a good crack at.

Im not to keen on joining something that I have to spend hours n hours on trying to get a setup for as I dont really have the time, not saying I wont pratice but you know what I mean. :)

Tin top racing is abit of me not to keen on the open wheelers (sorry) I absolutely loved the BMWs at the LAN and the porsches are awesome to drive etc but hey im down for anything really aye.

any help will be much appreciated _b _b _b

We will likely have a new Tuesday night league starting in about a months time. No firm decisions have been made as far as I'm aware, but its likely to be using the V8 Supercars mod, which you probably tried at the Lan. I'm sure you'll be welcome to join in.

Now that V8Factor (V8 Supercars) v1.2 is out, we'll prolly have a number of practise nights. Lots more to learn now with the new physics model.

Ok well make sure you ask questions at the practice sessions that are bound to be coming along :)
In the mean time it is just miles in the seat that is required, through that you will get a feel of the cars and begin to find where the limits are.
Perhaps people could post up some setups with the new physics so the guys can get some practice in without having to worry too much about setups at this point.

There is a thread here which is about a tool that can be used to help with setups, it might be just what you're after mate http://www.kiwisimracing.net.nz/forum/v ... f=4&t=9395" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
