Hi all,
It's been 7 years since I last raced online but I'm looking forward to racing in the rFactor Porsche 993 league with you. I've enjoyed tons of fast, clean racing in the past with kiwis and aussies and I get the impression you guys are just as 'professional', if not more so than my old league.
I used to race against Riven, Code, Templar, and many others in GTR2 over at what became On3 (can't even remember if I'm remembering that forum name correctly). I really enjoyed that league but it seemed to die after the Big_Name_Change to On3 or whatever the hell it was. My crowning online racing achievement was beating Riven in a 10 lap sprint race - although he had a 50 or 100kg ballast penalty from memory and I still couldn't shake him off. He sat on my rear bumper for 10 laps waiting for me to make a mistake. Damn, he was so fast and smooth - he probably still is.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Having taken the 993 for a few dozen laps around the S'ring I'm finding the car a handful but also a lot of fun. Hats off for the excellent job on the Porsche power_off_suicide_slide to the team that built it. I just need to try and tame it - somehow!
