A1GP Taupo - Who's going?
So who's going to the a1gp this weekend?
I'm a bit broke so I'm just going to get general admission for Sunday.
Would be good to catch up during the lunch break somewhere

Yes but will be working. On the plus side if the weather turns completely crappy at least I'll be warm and dry
It will be on air TV3 Fri 1630-1700, Sat 1600 - 1800, Sun 1400 - 1800
If you're wanting live wall to wall coverage, your expectations will be exceeding reality.

Mario and myself heading up tomorrow, might catch some of the friday afternoon racing but definitely be there sat + sun.
GA all the way, the grandstand seats are horribly uncomfortable... we'll be camped out on our low-rider seats on the bank

Re: A1GP Taupo - Who's going?
bollocks I didn't see this thread before I left
Was good fun though, it was fecking hot though, about 30 degrees most days siting in the sun.
Utes were alright (though they needed a bigger field)
Porsches were alright (they also needed a bigger field)
Didn't really see much of the Toyota racing series.
A1 was good to watch, I think Monaco need a new driver, lol! off in the dirt on just about every practice session.
Would have caught up with some of you if I could, only managed to catch up with Bold and Prometheus.
It'll be interesting to see how everything goes if the series moves to Hampton Downs.
