As far as im aware, the 96+ mitsis do not suffer from this issue, well none of the 4 or so CM5a gsr's or Evo 4/7 ive had, nor any of my mates ones have had that issue.hawkins wrote:

I know up to 1995 mitsi used a sealant that absorbed moisture causing the roofs to rust from the inside out, which can only be fixed by having the roof skin replaced.
