Hmmm good point.
So why are people voting Holden?
They don't even feature at all....
It's 350 Chev Vs 351 Ford isn't it?

It's 350 Chev Vs 351 Ford isn't it?
thought they used a holden 307 block and ford used a variation on the 302 Ford US block
They are only 5 litre v8s I think, and the 350 is 5.7 litre and the 351 is 5.8 litre

Jason Richards has been bloody quick all weekend, his downfall will be his co-driver

Murphy I dont quite think has the car, he has a very very classy co-driver in skaife, that SGR car worries me somewhat.

The Giz could be a dark horse for a win here, he is seriously fast, and if any rain comes down sunday he WILL be the fastest man on track, also has a grafter in Alex Davidson as a team-mate who will always give 100% and make few mistakes.

I'm a huge Ford fan I won't deny, but my patriotism overwhelms my desire for a Ford to win, thus if Murph, J.Richards or even Craig Baird in a solid HRT car could come through with a win I would be rather delighted

I thought Holden changed to 5.7s a few years back when the BA Falcon came out and Holden couldn't win anymore, at which point Ford retaliated with the 5.8....or was that just the production cars?

i understand the regulations limit them to 5 litre and its only the production cars that run the larger engines for sales? I could be wrong, but I think the rules are 5 litre limit

Under the 2009 operations manual section C-7 subsection C-7.1, line 7.1.2
The maximum Engine Capacity permitted is 5000cc
