Motorbike - Unbeleivable [Not for the Squeamish!!!]

Post by Harding Jr » Sun May 09, 2010 1:42 am

If you have a weak stomach don't scroll down.

I got this email fwd'ed onto me and I thought it was definitely worth posting up.

Here it is....

The cops were traveling down the highway at around 1 o'clock in the morning near Tulsa, Oklahoma. They found this on the road.

Another patrol car stopped a truck some miles down the highway and were struck with the following image.

Image

The Truck Driver said he thought he felt the impact, but it took him almost 4 miles down the road before he thought he'd better pull over and check out his rig

Image

Notice the driver has no shoes on from the impact or from being dragged all that distance. Ouch!

Witnesses and State Police say the Motorcyclist was traveling at 120 mph when he ran into the back of the moving semi-truck.

It pays to have a good quality helmet when riding a motorcycle, Now for the rest of the story! THIS GUY SURVIVED.
I'll bet he never rides that fast again.

I think he will be knocked out. I presume they would have thought he was dead by his body posture with his legs hanging back like that. Maybe they only realized he had a pulse when they went to remove him? LUCKY MAN!!!

I would agree with you there mentl, from all the ambulance training Ive done with St johns, the first thing would be to stabilise the guy and having him in that position you wouldnt be able to assess any injury. That and the fact that witnesses saw it yet no one got the truck driver to pull over until a few miles then theres something up there.

Either that or some people have no brains what so ever (a bit like a motor cyclist doing those kinds of speeds on a public road).

I agree Mentl and Ugmo, I thought after being dragged for 4 miles his bloody feet still look alright.

But, wicked photos and it sure put's into perspective about what speeds you should be travelling when following a huge vehicle like that.
