is it me or does the new Corvette have similar lines to a Ferrari?

Cut off the bonnet and it looks like a Nissan gtr..

I thought all Corvettes were meant to look like a door stop wedge.

Profile looks to have some Ferrari inspired styling, and the tail lights/rear remind me of the Camaro. Not sure about the front grill either.
While it's still rather cool, it's not quite 'there'
