I have to admit, the Nissans liveries are pretty woful, but thats Kelly Racing. Their liveries have been bland for many years.
What i do like is the sound of that Nissan V8, it just sounds like pure grunt power, like get outa my way, im coming through.

I'm super excited about this new beginning for the V8 Supercars, it's going to be just fantastic. Bring on Clipsal

The Giz doing what he does
2x Pole position and a R2 win at Clipsal, legend
Shame the Nissans and Mercs didn't do so well, but that was expected. I'd hope to see them becoming more competitive as the season continues.

Re: V8 Supercars - COTF
Not sure what I made of Bathurst this year.
At some points the safety cars, the track falling apart etc made it a bit boring and tedious.
Then Scotty crashed out, and SVG had trouble in the pits, when they both looked like they could finally bring NZ a win again.
Then it was the usual Winterbutt and Whingcup battle at the front, boring. The race was promising for a new champion and for those two to be dicing it out again was a bit stagnant after everything that had happened in that race.
Then Winterbutt got spun which was rather funny.
Then Whingcup ran outta fuel!
Was great seeing a new up n comer take out the win, and Paul Morris (Who Ive met and shared some track time with) finally get a win after many many attempts. Also great to see a Nissan up on the podium. That last lap almost made up for the hard luck all the top 4 kiwis had (SVG, Scotty, Fabian and Murph).
Also Super Black did well, they didn't have great car speed but they kept it clean and stayed on the lead lap which sometimes can be enough on its own just to get a top spot.

You missed heaps Sulley, so much going on, so much drama. Bloody awesome!
It was one of the best Bathurst's I've watched, and an epic day overall
Beersies, good mates and a mean BBQ feed with an awesome beverage and snacks service all day ( Cheers Mrs Rifty ) and mint weather
