OK, thinking about buying one of these things.

Found a 1991 twin turbo 5-speed 2+2

Anyone here owned/owns one that can let me know if its worth looking at, and whats its competition. Have sat in a GTO and FTO and both are to small inside.

My brother used to have the short wheel base 2 seater version. He seemed to like it, it was nice and quick and didn't seem to have anything really go wrong with it..

Not really my kind of car, but I guess if you forget that its a Nissan and close your eyes they're a pretty good car :)

The only thing I know is that the 300ZX motor we had in a customers race Saker was heavier and prodced less power than the Chevs for the same money. However that means nothing for a road car.

Thats an exceptionally reliable V6, and the turbos are pretty reliable as well.
The GTO is too heavy, near the 2 tonne mark, so it is really hard on the drivetrain and brakes, and the FTO is just a coupe, nothing special what so ever.

If ya like the 300ZX, go for it, nice, reliable, and quicker in a straight line than a Nissan 350Z.
