FFB Base Unit technicians.

Post by ragingbull99 » Fri Jan 24, 2020 7:11 pm

Hello.

I'm currently thinking about importing some FFB direct drive base units into New Zealand and was just inquiring if there are any well known or reliable specialist technicians that are able to fix issues with the base units should a problem arise.

The cost of shipping the unit back to the manufacturer if something happened seems a very big barrier to me, both in terms of the time it takes and costs involved, which is why I'm asking if there are local people who can help resolve the issues.

Cheers

Hey

I dont know, someone might but in my mind

I would think anythink brought in external would need to be send back to

(A) Where you brought it from (otherwise voids warranty)
(B) where you brought it from has a repair shop in New Zealand or a repair shop they suggest (hopefully local)

other news : Direct Drive units an wheels on special

Simagic M10 Direct Drive

playtech has the above DD on special 1,799.00 with wheel
www.mrpltd.co.nz had some on stock.. a week ago $100 difference (1899 I think, sold out now though) with wheel

An overseas stockist has the M10 Simfai $1,737.08 NZ with wheel (but unsure weather GST an or admin fees are added though)

But generally I'm interested if you do find someone local that'll sort out any repairs required an or needed.

However: my budget 2k an under
