Urgent Help Please

Think Ive got a BIG problem here any help is much appreciated

click on it and it goes to this

I click cancel and this comes up

Am I right up sh!ts creek here?? after clicking on the original alert in the corner the stuff that pops up just doesnt seem like legit stuff to download etc. Ive done a full AVG scan, Ad aware and spybot can and none of them have detected anything but all this keeps coming up. Hope someone can help as i dont know what to trust here and what i need to do

Your not up shit creek.. But you do have a virus / trojan.

too late for that now though..

Cleaning it up could be quite tricky, but it should be quite possible.

First step is to identify what you have. Fire up task manager, and check what processes are running. Search the web for any you don't recognise and see what you come up with. Post a screenie or two of the process list if you like.

Do you have antivirus 2008??? or is that was came up?

just up in the address bar it says top-pc scanner or something and in the images i posted up there it, thats what makes me think its trying to get more. None of it makes much sense and theyr not sites etc ive seen before. I havnt gone any further with down loading what it wants me to as Im not to sure about it all.

hmm this might take a while, i have no idea what im doing really. Ive followed a few steps and it makes a bit of sense but it doesn't find any of the stuff it says it should. Ill keep trying and see what i can manage, cheers for the help so far guys

I think i had this virus a little while ago. Ratman helped me. Told me to run the recovery disks. did so fixed the whole thing. maybe other ways around it though.

But make sure you back up files if your going to do this. photos. music. setups for games etc.

For that one you dont need to recover... just folow the steps...

The Virus/spyware changes name as time goes on but removals the same by the looks

If you get one of these do a google search of the software that its trying to scan with or what it wants you to buy...

Can take a bit of time but be patient

I had the same type of issue the last couple of days.

For a Scanner I used Avast, set it to scan everything and as thouroughly as it could, took 7ish hours, but it got rid of a whole bunch of crap that both AVG, and Windows live One care didn't find.

Edit: that all said I'm still having a few problems , time for a big cleanout methinks

There was a Windoze Update last night...wonder if that hosed our AVG's.....

seems to be a avg problem with the latest update....

I had the same AVG problem as everyone else. I did what Ratman said "Uninstall it the reinstall it" but now that i've reinstalled it, it wont update it says "The connection with the update server has faild".

Can anyone post a link for the Avast d/l as i had a search for it through google but could'nt find one that would d/l.

i had this yesturday but seemed to be much more than you guys it destoryed the pc lol and i had to reformat lol then get pissed off due to installing the wrong driver lol after talk with specy its working like me sexy as lol thanks speccy budd i hope to see you monday night now
