AVG done a update and download a virus
it was....
A.Bin file
so i deleted AVG and installed it again as you would but no go
put it back to a set date and it worked for a bit but didn't update.
so i downloaded zonealarm and that worked and then t shat it self no go died pc
rebooted the pc and it comes up to open Zonealarm and the frezzes the hole pc i cant even do 'Ctrl+Alt+Delete'
Please Please help me.
if i get no help im throughing it away and i will buy a new one

It is not a virus, there is obviously a problem with the AVG updates as everyone else is having the same problem

you didn't download a virus, there is a problem with the avg update, and it is not a "A.bin virus" it is a ".bin" type file that is missing
as for your computer locking up, I have no idea

yeah i just fond that out family friend came round and pc allgood so far um its doing a Disk cleanup

F8 key for booting in safe mode
