I went to DSE yesterday and temptation got the best of me, so walked out with a WD Media Player, 320gb Passport drive, 5 port HDMI switch and a couple of extra HDMI cables
Once I dicked around a bit with cables etc, its all good, nice small small media device (about 4" square) with cables going out the back and little remote, supports two usb devices and has a Digital Audio Output I not used yet.
A small remote controls switch box for HDMI, everything is black and blends in nicely, still room in the media centre for PS3 one day
So long... piles of dvd's and cd's littering the lounge, plus a bit more "backup" space.
I can highly recommend it, apparently it will play H.264 files also so that will be handy for higher res files

If you've got the time one wet Sunday, move as many of your dvd's onto the hdd.
You'll find it way easier when you're browsing the hdd player looking for a movie to watch, rather than flicking through your library and dvd cases.

It was about $750 i think before warranty extras...
The Player is normally 300, it on special at DSE for 250, the HD was like 220 and the HDMI switch 150....
