Photoshop .DDS help

Post by Sennheiserl » Thu Nov 19, 2009 4:02 pm

Hey all for the last few weeks saving a skin as a dds file has been working fine but since yesterday it keeps coming up with 'photoshop cannont save filename as a dds file due to a system error' does any one know how to fix this. i am using photoshop 7.

Cheers Senn

Why dont you save it as a .jpg and then using the .dds converter convert it to a .dds. i find its much easier that way because i too sometimes have that problem. its in the skinning post tha aaza put up i think.

mmm that is weird a squared resolution like that should be fine.

have you tried a full re-install of photoshop and re-installing the dds utilities?
