External HD

I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but.... Anyone know where I can pick up an external hard drive for a reasonable price?
I'm starting to have ram issues and it's playing havoc all over my system. (Damn painting and graphics...who taught me about that...)
I'm wanting to put my paint programe and alot of other sh.... stuff on there and free up the main hard drive.

Am I on the right track doing this?
Any advice (as long as it's good) would help me out heaps

You can get a 500GB HDD for under $200 now which 2-3years ago I brought my Western Digital 360GB one (that requires a power plug) for around $180. Needless to say never had trouble with it. I am currently running quite a few programs from my external HDD including rfactor and run's no sweat at all. Very handy at LAN's too!

Latest catalogue for either Bond & Bond or Harvey norman had a 2TB HD for $299 i think it was or could have been $199, i thought it was a damn good deal, i would have gotten it if i had some moolah as my 500gb one is slowly getting full haha
