Stuck on logging off screen

hey im running windows 7 ultimate and when ever i got 2 log off my account it gets stuck on logging off i have to reboot to get past that
werid thing is my mums account is fine

anyone have a solution??

32 or 64 bit?

Given that your Mother's account is fine, I'd be looking at your running processes. Try killing any unneccessary services and processes before shutting down.

ctrl-alt-delete brings up task manager then click process tab and click end all process
