Post by Scott-DPG » Tue Feb 26, 2013 11:54 pm

Hey guys,

So i think i have wheel setting issues.

I have a T500 RS

i can run up to 1030 degree of rotation, but generally settle for 900 on iRacing. rF1 is way different though and thats where i need help.

I guess a base using the BMW series we are running is a good starter.

Exaggerate Yaw 0%

Controller 1

X 25%
RX 25%
Y
RY
Z
RZ
SO
S1

Force Feedback

Feedback Type wheel
Feedback Effects 30%
Feedback Strength 30%
Jolt Forces 50%
Steering Force 133%
Steering Damper 34%
Steering Vibration 11%
Rumble Strip Pull 0%

Have a look at this thread - http://www.kiwisimracing.net.nz/forum/v ... =4&t=17705

It deals with FFB using Realfeel and Leo Force Feedback.

I'm not sure if you are using these at the moment but it may help sort a few issues out.

Also I notice that you only have and X and RX settings. I have three - Brake, throttle and wheel. Does this mean you have the brake and throttle on one axis instead of sperates ones?

I think this is the way it works:
The controller1 setting are based on how it reads the input (applying brake, throttle etc). If it is set at 50% then the input is a constant line from 0 to 100%. If it is set to 25%, then the input will be slower for the first 25% for the input to 100%. What that means in game is the throttle or brake seems less responsive at the beginning. The opposite is true if the % is higher i.e. 75%. Then the response is quicker at the beginning.
