t seems that some Xbox modders in Germany have come across some units that have the protective foil still on the bottom of the gpu heatsink. The protective foil is put on the heatsink to prevent dust buildup or smudging of the factory printed thermal paste during shipping to where Xbox 360's are assembled. This could be the reason some Xbox 360's like to overheat so much.

Or, don't void your warranty, give it back to Microsoft to fix. poor quality control, how odd, do many Microsoft Products generally have issues? :hysterical: :laughing:
