I think you need to put the windows disk in and boot off that, then do a windows repair, you may have to get someone to help you with that :)

Just got the news.

He said for some reason a virus got through to windows files and stuffed it up.
But i didn't have a good virus thats why only had norton.
He said he can fix it with xp disc by using repair but it didn't work because disc was little scratched.

And because i only have got 1 drive then i can't copy data off it as thats were windows files were.

So i have to restart i lost everything and didn't have anything on disc so lost everything :(

They are going to put a really good virus on for me.
and im going to buy a new drive .

so i can put all my games on that drive and window files on other drive so if it happens again i can get game files and restart then im sweeeet. :D

Thanks for the help any way m8.

If they wiped your drive without backing up your data then that is pretty poor. Maybe you should find a better "IT Crowd".

Pays to have some good virus protection / not fiddle with your computer / take it to professionals when you have a problem :)
