Copy n Paste Issues

Having a few problems. I copy/cut a COLOUR picture in any program..paint, photoshop etc and the copyed picture ends up black and white?

Any ideas why?

what are you pasting into? it could be the application you are pasting into.

Into the same programn. Like copy a picture in Photoshop and paste it into another document in photoshop?

Did you try pasting it into other applications then pasting it back?

Yer have you tried pasting into anything other than a photoshop document?
Paste into an e-mail or word or something.

If you were in photoshop and pasted an image into a photoshop document, the way it could be black and white is if your photoshop document is set to duotone or grayscale.

Plus making sure it's the correct layer / element being copied and pasted, rather than the style layer :D

Make the picture that you are trying to paste to active on screen, then go to Image > Mode > Greyscale. If it is ticked, un-tick it.
