O/S And PC Specs...

I had a problem like that on one of the other levels where it would just crash as soon as I started. Try either starting new campaign or using the level select thing and choose the 1st level.

Have you downloaded the patches/updates (BFBC2 Updater.exe in your BC2 folder)

As far as I know you can't download the updates. You need to use the BC2Updater.exe file inside your BC2 folder.

It may pay to give it a reinstall Chris. Ive read that updating after starting a campaign can cause problems etc too, so might pay to get a fresh install, all updated, then go to SP

ok, there are a couple of things... first make sure you have updated through using the updater application, found in the bc2 directory. The other one is I have heard about some peoples single player not working at all after the latest update. Personally I have never played the single player but after just loading it up it went past the point you stopped at.

Best thing would be to try an update through the process above then try again.

If you reinstall delete the bc2 folder in the Documents also, it wont solve any problems if it is still there on reinstall

ah all i did was install with disc, and do the online option, means you dont have to use disc I think I cant quite remember. But online authentication seems to be working for me.

I'm all up and running, just got to get used to all the buttons, already stuffed it up at the start....it asked me to push MMB to use my knife, I was pushing MMB, the buttons on the keyboard, but Bull tells me it's Middle Mouse Button..........yes I'm a slow learner :larf:

Can't wait to join you all online.

Chris bro, I hope you get it sorted and if I knew how to help you I would.....hope you get it fixed and we can go have some fun :D
