BF2 Simcentral Clan
With BF2 almost upon us, it occurs to me that many of the guys I race with are going to get right into this game. BF2 is mean't to reward team play and i would like to propose a new BF2 Clan!!!
Some of you have been in clans before and know how satsfying a good team strategy can be. We have a group of guys here that all use ventrilo and are old enough to want more from a game than just being a rambo!
So there are some important questions to be asked.
1.) Would you be interested in being in a clan?
this means being on ventrilo and working in a cooperative effort
2.) What should be the clan name and tag?
lets see what interesting names come up
3.) Should we have specialist roles that we train as?
there are many roles and some specialisation may be needed
4.) What other options would help make a successful clan?
any suggestions here please.
CLAN MEMBERS LIST
Mattly
Biteme

Snake
Havoc
Liquid
Ron
Mad Marty
Mikool
Big Al
Unbound
Eagle (may need an upgrade)
Hexx
Scuzz (drawing fire expert)
Trooper (cannon fodder)
Monza
Typhoon

Good Idea
I'd been keen as..
Myself, Snake Rogers and Funny Honey
Had a bit of a blast on AA the other with Ventrilo and it works well...
We worked well as a squad.. (Playing AA until BF2 comes out)
As long as it is low key..
As most of us are busy most nights..

re
Sounds good
definatly a kiwish name
as for roles each specializing in one thing, but having a good knowledge of all areas makes for a good balanced team

count me in. but then you already knew that mattly...
how about something simple.. like [SC] Name. I don't think we want anything long.
and when ppl ask what SC mean its easy we can go its http://www.simcentral.co.nz . cos you always going to get some twat asking "what does sc stand for?"
and as for "What other options would help make a successful clan?"
1, Have me on the team .
2, Ventrilo is a must. you don't have it your not in the clan.
3, all learn how to shoot down bloodly choppers,. To kill the ficken chopper spawn killers
4, Have fun and remember its only a game

I came up with [SC]...Mattly wrote:No one has come up with a cool clan name yet. Try some ideas out!
Sim Central Unit "MURDER" or s.c.u.M for short..
Simmers United Corp "K" or s.u.c.K for short...
or how about [SimCen]
or [SCc] for sim central clan.
or [SCu] Sim central unit
Do we really need some tacky clan name?

don't get me wrong.. we need a clan tag... but not something tacky like s.c.u.m or s.u.c.k .Mattly wrote:I don't know, but once we are a famous bf2 clan you will want to be proud of your clan tag wont you?
maybe we can put a poll up after a few more ideas have come in

Yeah, all apples.
I would like to see people specialising more. In DC i love flying choppers, but i suck at landing them so i would have to stay out of the pilots seat. I'm a Tanker by trade, so i would be keen on that. We will all need to train in the infantry role though cause i think that's where you will make or brake a team strategy.

Well, im certinley in, as soon as i can get my hands on it though
I would be happy to train as infantry, preferably a sniper or a straight out shooter but i would be happy enough to do medic or explosive stuff.
Cant help much with the team names but i do like the "S.C.U.M"
