it's close, gamespots site has notices syaing that the release is pending, so it's a good chance it will be released over night.

Its gonna be out 2morrow w00t..
Rugby all w/e and BF2 Demo being released..
Hopefully there are some NZ Servers on Sunday...
This is going to be biggest Team Strategy FPS ever IMHO !!
Seeya on some random BF2 server on Sunday :P

Done a bit of recon on the demo, some points:

-WinXP only
-Around 600MB in size
-It should be out 5am Aussie time at the latest, so around 7am here.
-It will be here first.

http://bf2.nzbattlefield.com/ will keep you up to date on the nz scene of things. Also put http://frizzle.servebeer.com:8000/ into Winamp or media player to listen out for bf2 news, right now listening to an interview of someone who played BF2 at E3.
