BF2 Help

How to play without an internet connection ?

Whenever BF2 loads up it justs comes onto the Login Screen
Is there a switch I have to add to the Desktop shortcut to play without an internet connection ?

Am I missing something obvious ?

You're not using the 'Play BF2 online now!' shortcut instead of the 'Battlefield2' shortcut?

Perhaps try ejecting the disc and letting it autorun.

Failing these basics, you're in territory unbeknownst to me...

Nah have tired both Shortcuts

Still doing more googles to try and find a solution

You have to create an Offline account in the "Manage Accounts" option.

Then when BF2 loads up, you can select that account and click "Login" without the need to actually talk to the Accounts Server.
I do it all the time.

Unfortunately, the Offline account ddoesn't inherit settings, so you have to set it up from scratch.

Just copied the control.con from the other profile

Damn... I thought there would be a single player/Lan Start Icon
