Just installed the Microsoft Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition, looks great and works fine. Just gotta pick up a joystick tomorrow and I'm away flying, any help over the long weekend would be appreciated, keen to have some fun. :D

Probably easier than the runway - my version is very short

Yes it is short. went to land a RNZAF King Air there and i went off the end of the runway >_<

FSX is the short term for Flight Simulator X, which is game you do indeed have to pay for.

But then as I understand it there is plenty of downloadable content after the initial purchase has been made.

Think of it as a Flight simulator version of rFactor

we use VAFS aswell, adds to the realisim
