hi thought this was worth a look http://www.nascarheatracingleague.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they have a dedicated server open to anyone unless they are having a league race oh and this mod is for heat.

yeah I raced in this a couple of times these guys are great! they only get super pissed off when they spin out in front of you and you hit them

they are super quick though.

If you have downloaded the MOD keep checking if anyone is online

oh yeah one more thing if you haven't downloaded any of the MODs already download the NBS one it is slower then NHRL but much easier to control, I got a setup for MC pocono (the track I raced at) I will give that to you if you want

Quite a few of the tracks are ones that came with the game. Therefore, are not hosted by any sites as they are held under copyright.

Others can be found around the internet. Google would be a good start: "*track name* nascar heat track download"

There have actually been copy's and or updated of these tracks made and or the people that made the game have released them for individual download.

Download the Sprint cup tracks from here that will get ya quite a few variations of the ovals, then if you go online just ask what track the have it on and ask if they could) change it to one you have or go for q quick download of that track (as there are 2-4 different versions of tracks which is quiet annoying but you will get it). The number of oval tracks are into the hundreds so getting the correct ones all the time is a matter of flipping a coin.

If you get into the server and you go in with a mate you can change the race setting by typing the admin pw which is server server commands are...

server track [name of track]
server length [5%/8%/10% etc]

Thats the basic ones you would need but I would recommend if somebody else is in the server that you don't know let them do it as they have probably been doing it for a few years.

Also if you have a keyboard and race on there take it super easy

They run leagues for both NHRL and NBS I would recommend getting NBS at a start as they are a tad slower and easier to get the hang of.

Sorry about the delay with the setup I emailed the guy and he still hasn't replied I have got word he is on Holiday and is returning sometime this week

They have it as near compulsory to have a steering wheel in there league but I was on gamepad with them knowing so and you just have to be very precise and not a tap one way racer but smooth actions, Keyboard would be extremely hard I assume.

Read the league rules and all of that.

I will be keen for some practice online so if you want any put up that your going on and I will join if I can.
