Mmmm, I'm liking the new Payload map, good fun
And the servers are only half full of Heavys
Not so keen on the arena game mode.. seems more like Counter strike than TF2.. Plus on a full server, you have to sit out rounds as some are set to 6v6.. rest spectating. Boooorrriiiiinnngggg..

Will have to take the game out of its packaging one of these days and actually install. By the sounds of it, there is about the same amount of update data to download as there is actual game. So will start to downloading it.Bold wrote:Sounds good. I'll be there for sureSasquatch wrote:I'm fathoming a KSR vs SCU TF2 scrimmage in the not so distant future

Good plan. Its well worth it! Its hard to tell how much you will need to download, my TF2 files are about 3.5gig, but they also share files with the source engine etc..Will have to take the game out of its packaging one of these days and actually install. I spent a couple of hours playing last night. Got my Sandvich unlocked, without visiting a dodgy acheivment server
Love the new payload map, and cp_steel is good, once you stop getting lost.

Heh, give it another week and people will get bored of going heavy, and the classes will distribute a bit more evenly.
Medic is fun to play though, and a good medic will usually be at the top of the score board It's still my most played class overall.

I purchased online directly through steam... as with all my other steam games I have never had an issue.
Perhaps a cheeky salesperson at the store you bought it from nicked the key?

CD Key theft can happen to anyone, even if you buy via Steam. It happened a lot with BF2

What you'll most likely have to do is go here:
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -QDFN-4366" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and follow the instructions
But see what they say, it might be a different story if you buy the game and get reamed first pop

Re: TF2 Update! New advancements/weapons for the Heavy!
I had a responce from them, I can send the game back to them and they a)will send me a return copy b) let me download it from steam. I choose to download it and they activated it for me straight away.BAZZIL wrote:That's a bit rude.Boony wrote:Well finally decided to take the game out of its wrapper to see why you guys like it so much, and what do I get CD code already in use. Question, the game says it was updated by steam when I was installing it, is that just the game and will I have to download all the extra advancments??

Re: TF2 Update! New advancements/weapons for the Heavy!
Should be everything you need to go.. I expect the updates would have been a couple of hundred meg. All the up dates are treated as part of the same game, so if TF2 says 100% your set to go.
