gaming choices...
Here are some choices come up...what will you be buying?
-Brother in Arms Hell's Highway
-due out 26 September 2008
-SP and coop campaign and MP
-multi player modes unknown
-CoD World at War
-due out 12/11/08
-SP and coop campaign and MP
-more unlocks and new perks for MP with smooth good looking graphics with that fast pace feel. looking forward to the WWII weapons again
-Blackshark
-unknown release date
-SP and MP
-unknown MP play but should be the standard flight sim MP options
Huge steap learning curve that will probably require a few hours of reading just to learn the systems properly. Doesn't help everything will be in Russian. However, this will finally unseat LongBow II for chopper sims. I am hoping there are a few rotor heads out there willing to meet up with me on a regular basis for some MP coop action.
-Empire Total War
-unknown release date but rumoured Feb09
-SP and MP
-Unknown MP play but rumours of MP coop campaign and best of all, up to 32 players in ship to ship team death match play.
My goodness the Total War series is the best value for money and in my books is the best series of games of all time. The level of detail and emmersion is has always been of a grand scale and will continue to impress if the franchise continues. This game is a must have in my opinion
-GTAIV for pc
-due out Nov08
-SP and MP
-MP unknown
I will purchase this game and based on its sustainability in MP mode only, AND if there is a real sustainable keen interest by this community. Otherwise I'll just get a "trail version" and play a bit of SP mode when bored.
-FarCry2 hasn't quite made my list as yet, as I don't know much about the MP aspect. Also, my primary concern is will my pc run this monster without me having to upgrade. if MP is the standard death match spray and pray crap then I am not interested, as it will be like Crysis and die quickly.
So who is getting what in the near future?

Re: gaming choices...
Its quite a list and in a perfect world I would probably buy them all
But with limited funds, CoD5 and GTA IV will be my first picks.
Another game worth conserdiring would be Crysis Warhead,
Will also go along with a new mouse and keyboard..........................................one day

You really need to add Fallout 3 to that list. Likely to be one of the biggest releases this year! No MP though, but that's not necessarily a bad thing
I'll definitely be grabbing Fallout3, GTA IV, and maybe Farcry 2. None of these for the multiplayer though.
Blackshark maybe, if it ever comes out..

The co-op mode looks like bloody good fun, about time too... tis a shame ww2 fps shooters have been done so many times before, still worth just for the co-op I'd think.

Re: gaming choices...
Planning to get as many as possible via STEAM, tired of re-installing everything everytime I re-load my machine, much easier to just drop the steam dir back in after doing the small base steam install and letting it figure out what I own again
No particular order prior to Christmas
Crysis: Warhead
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
Fallout 3
GTR: EVO
FarCry 2
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
Call of Duty: World at War
Blackshark...once its released

GTR Evo is brilliant. Especially the WTCC Extreme cars!
