You can install from within the game, I'm pretty sure it's in the Options Menu but I'll check tonight. It takes around 40 - 50 mins and installs about 8GB of data, obviously you still require the disc to play as it doesn't install everything.

Went into the Used Car Lot today and look what I found. :D

Car feels great with it just getting a little twitchy in the rear when giving it to much gas coming out of corners, car is still standard apart from the paint so should be interesting to see how it goes after it receives a supercharger etc.

You can't turn it off by using the power switch, you need to use the controller or else you will lose your saved game haha!!!

Use it as a Media Centre and store movies etc on it, watch TVNZ on demand, surf the web, theres a fair bit you can do apart from play GT5 on it.

So how do I get the movies from my PC onto the PS3? Can I just plug my external HD in?

Yup as long as your hdd is formatted as fat32 not ntfs you should then you will fine. Once it's connected go to the movies tab on dashboard and press triangle while your hdd is selected then display all and they should all appear.

And being FAT32, the sizes are limited to a maximum of 4GB.
