Borderlands

Post by Bull » Thu Oct 29, 2009 10:03 pm

Anyone else getting this?

Its like a RPG Meets FPS Meets MMORPG kinda thing, looks like great fun with up to 4 Player Co Op, with the ability to use your Single Player Character Online, and any stats/guns etc you get online stays with you if you go on another Server or back to singleplayer.

The game is wicked fun, 12th level Soldier kicks Scrag butt, had a bit of trouble with the Rage Roid due with the Mine Key, quite tuff getting in and out..

Incendary Rifles are the must have weapon this season :D

Good luck, the only tip I'll give ya is Camping is your friend :D

I'm onto next big nasty and he's got a ragtag band of enforcers as well, I got an incendary sniper rifle does 112 and often sets fire to target, hardcase...

My only issue is the resource hog nature of the game, have occasional crash as I need more than the 2gb ram I got so far...

When I got stuck, I respawned with some ammo, no much mind you and had to use melee attack to get some more...I recall that I had a fair bit of sniper ammo and some shotgun shells so I went forward, camped the big guy and sniped him slowwwwly, then used shotgun on midget phycos, got loot after big guy fell so I could work my way out again...its a tuff mission for sure

You buy the game on Steam and get 4 installs and keys, I have 2 takers at work so need a fourth.

I just send em the game via Steam and then they can download and play it...
