Take it from me, give Hot Pursuit a miss....

The controls are terrible, worst I've ever encountered in a NFS game q- q- q-

F1 2010 way much better fun but without the street racing unfortunately :(

Just to throw a spanner in the works been playing the Single Player the last week or two and have been having quite the laugh, yea the controls are very arcady (tried driving with a wheel but resorted quickly to an Xbox controller). Can be frustrating at times with the time challenges being similar to getting gold in some of the GT5 licence tests ie have to be point perfect but nothing quite like seeing a GT40 Cop Car rolling over a barrier after you've just ripped out a spike strip and caused carnage and on the flip side taking out 6 supercars in a pursuit chase in my Viper Cop car is also rather hard case.
It does have insane rubber band catch up which can drive people a little nuts, ie your doing 200+ and roll an opposition car that you've been chasing for 2-3 miles, 10 seconds later the cars back on its wheels and has caught up and passed you....WTF, ah well more chances to smash it into the wall :D

Playing GT5 and F1 2010 at the moment as well and can see them crossing 3 very different audiences

Steam sale on at the moment, NZ $35 roughly, huge amount of fun single player so now into the autolog side of the house and lots more carnage :)

if only we could calibrate a control this game could be a lot of fun. Have since removed it from my pc and really wished I'd checked in here before purchasing, cause it only seemed to recognise the last 20 degrees of steering input from my controller....such a shame really cause this title used to be quite an enjoyable series.... q-
