Mafia 2
Anyone else played this ??
I clocked it today and not what i expected it to be at all, once i completed the game i can't do anything else that is it can't do any type of "Free Roam" mode which would have been an awesome asset to the game and i would have even thought about buying it then.
But now that i have clocked it, that is it for me with this game but don;t get me wrong it is still a good game to play through the story mode etc and the change of cars through the different years you go through is quite neat specially the Hotrods but apart from that hmmmm i will let you decide.

Re: Mafia 2
I played the demo of it and it didn't really appeal that much to me aye. I recently finished playing 'Red Dead Redemption' which would have to be one of the best games I have ever played, the problem is that after playing that and then going to Mafia II I really wasn't impressed at all.

Re: Mafia 2
Red Dead Redemption dominates and Ive only played it for 2 or 3 hours max. Looking forward to getting into it hard out.
From these reports I will not be buying Mafia II haha

I'm enjoying it thus far. About 2/3 of the way through at the moment.
The lack of free roam has put a downer on the game though.

Whilst you are still doing the missions there MR Aaza, when it says to go to your home, just drive round just figured that out as it doesn't really matter how long it will take you to do the next missionKSR Aaza wrote:I'm enjoying it thus far. About 2/3 of the way through at the moment.

Re: Mafia 2
You didn't know that already? On all the 'drive here' missions you could do what you wanted (besides the ones with the timers).
Game complete but probably won't bother replaying to find all the posters.

We're in luck Pitty.
A DLC titled "Jimmy's Vendetta" has been released that adds a whole new bunch of missions on a extra game mode.

Oh were you playing it on Xbox, I was on PC.
Jimmy's Vendetta is for all the platforms so once you get your Xbox fixed, you'll be able to get it.

Re: Mafia 2
By the first one are you meaning the PS3 only DLC or the Mafia 2 story mode?
I've done maybe 8 missions so far and it's kinda boring. Drive to the other side of the city, shoot someone or steal a car, go to the safe zone. Repeat again.
It might be boring cause I keep crashing while going 100+ mph along the freeways then having to start from the other side of the city again.
