I've had this game for quite a while now but I suck at it big time like most FPS games, will be keen to get slaughtered some time though. :D

I will say it is quite a difficult game to get the hang of, especially the speed of the game as it's alot faster than 90% of all the other FPS games out there

The latest server release consumes pretty much all CPU and crashes a lot.

Many hosts may have their servers offline, or at a previous version (not compatable) until this is fixed (few days)

My download's only 7.2GB. Must be because I've already got Portal installed.

Thanks that would explain it as it worked fine 2 days ago and it can try and consume all of my cpu if it wishes as it will be the first game to do so :)

yes, it uses half life? as a base so if you have files involved like css/ portal etc you dont have to download it all.

Finished the download last night and have just played a bit over the last two hours. Definitely a lot of fun until the server went laggy. :look:

So anyone coming up to the end of their internet month (and get capped once they go over), download this on the last day of your internet month.
